The collection consists of administrative files of the University's Office of the President during Glenn W. Ferguson's tenure from 1973-1978. Also included are the files of Ferguson's assistant, Paul Capra and acting President Edward Gant who served for six months following Ferguson's resignation. Ferguson's years as President were difficult financial times for the University with inadequate support from the state legislature, but there was continued growth in the physical plant as well as academic and research programs.
